Financial Planning
A. Comprehensive Financial Plan: A written analysis of the client’s current financial situation, taking into account stated goals and objectives, and based on data gathered from interviews, as well as documents provided by the client. Analysis and recommendations are rendered in all of the following areas that apply:
- Investment Portfolio Analysis
- Risk Management
- Education Funding
- Cash Flow and Tax Analysis
- Estate Planning
- Benefits Analysis
- Retirement Planning
- Charitable Planning
- Stock Options
The fee is 1.0% of Active Investment Assets for the first $1 million; 0.8% for the next $1 million; 0.6% for the next $2 million; above $4 million, negotiable. Minimum fee = $5,000. Fee includes six months of Investment Monitoring and Reporting.
B. Financial Planning Update: A review of the client’s financial condition since the Comprehensive Plan. This includes measurement of progress towards achievement of goals, and recommendations for changes. The fee is 50% of the fee for a Comprehensive Financial Plan, minimum $2,500.
C. Financial Planning Consultation: A review of the client’s financial situation encompassing whatever areas the client wishes. Fees are based on hourly rates of $225 to $400 per hour, minimum two hours.
